Le Clos du Caillou Cotes du Rhone Esprit Nature
With the 2020 vintage, the well-known Cotes du Rhone Nature changed its name to Esprit Nature. It grows where the vines for Quartz, Reserve and Le Caillou also grow. This is a selection from the vineyard. It is intercellularly fermented on whole grapes and stalks. Method as in Beaujolais. Later alcoholic fermentation. This method also results in the wine being so extremely fruity. Nature, because wine never sulphurets. Anyway, it is biodynamically certified. There are both old and young vines in this wine. The blend changes a bit depending on the vintage, in 2021 it is pure Grenache.
